The Créarc, Center for the Creation of Research and Cultures, is a French and international cultural and artistic association.
It is managed by a 19-member Board of Directors and run by a professional team of 7 members, in addition to many intermittent workers, volunteers, interns and civic services.
The Créarc organizes the Rencontres du Jeune Théâtre Européen which are held every year in Grenoble, at the beginning of July. it is the centre of the Young European Theater Network and sets up European exchanges for young actors.
The Créarc is also a theatrical creation company. It produces shows independently or in co-production with members of the Network. It realizes in synergy with this creation and the exchanges of young actors, theatre workshops and writing workshops with different age groups and various socio-cultural backgrounds.
The Créarc manages the Petit Théâtre made available to it by the city of Grenoble. It welcomes young companies, associations, MJCs... who give their shows there. It is a centre of artistic and civic conviviality in the heart of the city.
The Créarc is part of the tradition of artists who work for the intellectual development of humanity and the construction of a harmonious and peaceful society.
